Gris

Gris

Sometimes you see some artwork of a game that is heavily stylized and doesn't quite match up to the fidelity of the actual game. Gris is not that game. The unique hand drawn graphics are buttery smooth and animate in a way that doesn't feel technical or "gamelike." Gris is about a woman who loses her voice. Each of the games 4 worlds has a theme and a color associated with it. Finishing a level adds color back into the world and opens up new areas and alters the graphics. It's probably about depression because every indie games have to be about depression.

It's a 2D platformer with some light puzzle elements, and can be completed in 1 or 2 sessions. I recommend it if you want a quick snack.
