The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
I tried to get into this game a few times, it's regularly brought up in "best of" lists and has great reviews. On paper, it seems like I'd love it. It's a fantasy RPG that lasts 100 hours in a huge open world with hundreds of quests. The problem is the combat it super clunky and floaty, and ultimately I didn't care enough about the world to overlook that. There is a significant amount of lore and backstory from the previous games and the book series that is completely lost on me. It's kind of excessive, so much to do to a fault. I spent probably 8 hours in one city doing random fetch-quests trying to find a guy named Dandelion and realized that wow, I do not know who that is and I don not care anymore.
